SAMPLE ANSWER

The line graph represents an overview of how many satellite were launched by India and other countries in the world from 2007 until 2016.

It is noticeable that the Indian space program launched as many as 46 satellites against 76 satellites of the world in one decade.

Satellite launches for India fairly stable for the first four years whereas the numbers for the world fluctuate between the range of 3 and 9. In 2011, India launched eight satellites, twice more than the preceding year while they were halved for other countries. Then after for another three years, the number of satellite launches remained range bound. Surprisingly, the Indian space program matched up the launch numbers with the world until 2014.

The 2016 was a momentous year in which the highest numbers of launches were recorded by India (10) and the world (22).

Overall, foreign satellite outnumbered Indian satellites, but India was ahead by far margin in terms of satellite launches recorded by a single country.
